At our comapny, we have taken deliberate steps to promote health, such as replace the birthday cake with fresh fruit and providing monthly health workshops presented by Sherri Sacconaghi. When Sherri suggested walking teams, I thought it a wonderful way to express the company’s commitment to our employee’s well being by providing the pedometer and prizes. Many have embraced the idea enthusiastically and so far, over 50% of our employees have signed up for a walk team.
